Hi! I’m Irma Gomez — a critical care nurse turned educator, wife, mom, and proud grandma to two dogs and two cats. I’ve spent years at the bedside, and now I help nurses grow professionally through teaching, mentorship, and simulation-based learning. I’m also the founder of 1ArtsyRN Badge Bling N Things, where creativity meets care.
From Badge Reels to Bookish Dreams:
It all started in 2018 when I made a few decorative badge reels for myself and my coworkers. What began as a creative outlet quickly blossomed into a small business rooted in joy, connection, and handmade charm. Today, 1ArtsyRN has grown beyond badge bling — I now design apparel, bookmarks, graphic art, and all things bookish because these are the things I love.Whether it’s a cozy sweatshirt for a fellow nurse, a book sleeve for a bibliophile, or a custom badge reel that sparks a smile during a long shift, everything I create is made with intention and heart.
